Meridian is delighted to be working with a well established yet dynamic company, looking for someone to join there Business Development/Account Management team based at the company's premises in Andover.
To provide full support for the Area Sales Engineers, including booking appointments in line with business development and account development activities.
Input into Account Planning, including relationship management, opportunities, pricing, competitor activities etc.
Work with the Line Manager to put together pro-active new business activities in line with Strategic Sales Plan.
Provide customer and market feedback into the business as a result of new business activities.
Input into new product design and assist in fact finding within the marketplace.
Ensure that quotes and price confirmations are addressed on time and followed up as required.
Maintain key databases and use the content to drive sales and marketing initiatives.
Sales or account management skills are a must. You must be confident with dealing with clients over the phone for face to face. IT Skills are required as you will be using Microsoft Office/Outlook, and managing the internal system.
This is a permanent position, offering £20,000 - £25,000 DOE + Commission. Working Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
