Meridian Health are currently recruiting for an audio typist to work in the Stroud area. The position is required to assist with a back log of work- mainly audio typing and booking appointments.
This role can be full or part time - flexible for the right person.
The post holder will provide audio typist support to the consultants permanent secretaries.
The post holder will be expected to undertake typing of clinical tapes which will be distributed by the medical secretaries. The post holder will carry out their duties in such a way to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation of the work.
It is essential that the post holder should exercise initiative commensurate with the role and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
It is essential that the applicant has the following qualifications: GCSE O'Level English or equivalent, Accredited typing qualification or equivalent, Audio typing qualification or equivalent.
Previous administrative knowledge would be advantageous.
