Assistant Embedded Software Engineer required Cheltenham.
Working within a small team of Senior Embedded Software Engineers applicants must possess a solid understanding of 'C' programming methodologies and demonstrate some experience with electronic development projects either at University or preferably in industry.
The appointee will be engaged in the development and test of real-time embedded code for 16/32 microcontrollers for use within industrial instrumentation applications. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the ARM processor family, test script languages, systems analysis methods and electronic circuit prototyping. An appreciation of fluid and thermodynamics together with strong mathematical skills would be highly beneficial.
Personal characteristics required are flexibility, positive attitude, strong desire to learn and a willingness to see the job through to completion. Candidates must be qualified to a minimum of degree/HND level (or equivalent) in Electronic or Software Engineering, or similar.
