Accounts Assistant, Herefordshire - Varied Position
£12 to £13 an hour 6 months contract
An international company with its UK base in Herefordshire would like to employ a person for six months, where you be processing an increasing payroll on a monthly basis for this company currently experiencing outstanding growth, a business building now, for the next stage of its development.
Do you have
- An ability to achieve tight reporting deadlines, your duties include submitting RTI to HMRC online
- Ledger control - process purchase invoices once matched with purchase orders
- Run supplier payment lists and pay suppliers accordingly using BACS payments and occasional cheques
- Send remittances to suppliers and employees
- Sales ledger - process sales invoices and check for accuracy
- Credit check new customers
- Process employee expenses (cash and company credit card) and pay any amounts due
- Process petty cash transactions and reconcile to cash balance held
- Process bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform inter company recharges
Ideal though not essential, you will have knowledge of accounting packages such as Pegasus Opera as being the ideal experience but other accounting packages are also transferable.
