If so, and you have experience of high-volume, invoice processing, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Accounts Payable Clerk is required to cover a period of Maternity leave. The contract will be for a fixed-term of 9 months, with the potential for extension, although this is not guaranteed.

Within this role, you'll be responsible for processing volume invoices, which will also include dealing with queries to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time. You'll reconcile supplier statements and action any queries which will include working closely with your stakeholder group to get the job done.

You'll have the opportunity to work with internal and external customers at all levels of the business in order to deliver a great service.

To be successful within this role you'll have had previous experience in an Accounts Payable capacity, processing volume invoices of 3,500 or more on a monthly basis.

In addition, you will have a solid knowledge of MS Excel and a business system for invoicing.

If you've worked in a manufacturing or engineering environment previously this will help you to develop an understanding of the queries you may come across however, this isn't essential. More importantly is the confidence to deal with customers at all levels of our organisations, to ask the right questions and ensure follow up on required action.
