Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a large local oragnisation based in Taunton. You will be required to assist in all aspects of financial administration including sales and nominal ledgers, petty cash, credit control and bank reconciliation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Input sales ledgers receipts
  • Complete internal reports
  • Control petty cash and record accordingly
  • Manage the credit control function in line with financial objectives
  • Carry out bank recocilliations

Preferred Skills:

  • Maths and English GCSE grade A - C
  • Previous experience within an accounts position required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Able to deal with confidential material discreetly
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Rate of pay: £9.20 per hour
