A leading provider of building and mechanical engineering services is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join their well established team based in Knowle. Salary £17,500-18,000 per annum plus pension, medical insurance, free parking 25 days holiday and fantastic bonus!!!
As Accounts Assistant you will be working within a busy Bought Ledger environment raising purchase orders, inputting Goods Received Notes (GRNs), reconciling goods received to purchase orders, matching invoices due for payment and close down the run once authorised as well as filing of all documentation.
Your experience of Purchase Ledger will ensure you can set up suppliers, reconcile statements and deal with supplier queries both over the phone and via email. You will have excellent data entry skills, with good knowledge of Excel (formulas required), and experience of using an accounting software package.
An understanding of suppliers and subcontractors would be beneficial for this role. This is a full time role working Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5; and Friday 8.30 - 4.30.
