We are currently recruiting for 111 Call Takers to work within a contact centre, based in Bicester, on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for highly motivated, people focused individuals. To work in a busy target driven environment, handling calls from members of the public regarding urgent/emergency health problems.
Your role will be to effectively utilize NHS Pathways Triage software to provide the caller with an appropriate response to their urgent healthcare need within an identified timeframe, so you could be dispatching an ambulance or booking a GP appointment. It is therefore a challenging yet very rewarding role, and no shift will be the same.
You will be required to complete a six week fulltime training course in NHS Pathways. This covers full training in our systems and then support coaching in the call centre environment. You will be supported in the call centre by Team Leaders, Clinical Advisors and Clinical Managers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally call centre/ customer service experience, and knowledge/ experience within the NHS/ healthcare sector would be advantageous.
All applicants must be over the age of 18 years due to the hours of night shifts. All successful candidates who are offered a role will all be subject to Disclosure and Baring service clearance and occupation health clearance. You will be provided with a new rota every 4 weeks which will include days, nights and weekends between 8/10/ and 12 hour shifts across Monday - Sunday.
