My client, a growing and expanding, Somerset based organisation is currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their busy team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager. This role within the organisation has the responsibility for Production Planning, Schedule Management with significant customers, Liaison with Supply Chain and Purchasing. The main objectives of the Production Planner are: To ensure all customer requirements are met with effective production planning. To ensure purchasing are made aware of requirements in a timely manner. To ensure customer support and or customers are informed of any delays in a timely manner. Role responsibilities: To ensure customer schedules are loaded accurately into the ERP system and reflect the customers’ requirements, this includes requested changes made by customers that may be difficult to achieve. Manage the expectations of both internal customers and external customers with realistic production and delivery information. Load and create manufacturing orders that match the expectations of the company and allow a smooth flow of production orders. Ensure that housekeeping tasks relating to open manufacturing orders are completed on a weekly basis. We are recruiting for Greenhouse Planting Operatives to work for a local organisation based in Taunton, Somerset. You will be working within a greenhouse nursery planting and maintaining garden plants from seed to fully grown. This is working as part of an established team providing support during the Spring and Summer time to support the growth of new plants. The role will be repeatative as you will be planting and replanting pots as the seedlings grow and moving them into new greenhouses and out into outdoor locations. The main responsibilities will include: Working on an assembly line planting seeds into pots Replanting seedlings into larger pots as they grow Maintaining irrigation systems Checking plants for growth and health Moving pots into new greenhouses as they develop Planting finished plants into outdoor locations Keeping greenhouses clean and tidy Loading and unloading lorries of deliveries and storing them in warehouses Previous gardening or greenhouse experience would be beneficial or an interest in this area. The details of the role are: Operators are expected to work flexibly in any of the following general areas with limited cross area flexibility: Composite manufacturing techniques Fitting techniques Maintaining techniques Process bath techniques Electrical techniques Main Job Responsibilities: Manufacture of Vital assemblies. Manufacture of components and sub-assemblies in the production of Vital assemblies. The ability to work in one of the following 'work centres' in the composites department: Clean Room composite activity including material cutting, 'laying up' bagging and processing and the operation of various material processing machines including Desitech,X-Y table and automatic tape layers, Autoclave processing, Detail/assembly pre-treatment techniques including operation of Vapormatt machine, Machine tool and roto-peening, Process baths, Final assembly detail fitting and caulking, Press operation and cure cycle monitoring, Test specimen manufacture,Detail assembly de-flashing and trimming (fettling activities), Post survey repair work including strip and rebuild of main and tail rotor blades, Support to other skilled disciplines within the department as workloads and requirements dictate, DIA operation (active on most products and is being introduced on all levels via a shop-led implementation team). Responsibilities:
I have a fantastic opportunity for a Telehandler/ Labourer to work on a site in Martock. In this role you will be: Using the Telehandler to move pallets around site Lifting Carrying Construction of large steel framework Erection of said framework Keeping site tidy Use of power tools This role is for 2-3 months but could continue on longer. Hours of work are Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm ( x 2 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch break) , must be flexible to work longer if needed. £11ph and must have a telehandler licence This role will be mainly labouring with some of the day spent in the Telehandler No CSCS card needed! This is a great opportunity for someone who is happy to work outside and who has some labouring experience
