Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Permanent Yard Operative working for their client based in ST1 Stoke on Trent. 
This role will involve working 45 hours per week, working 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with the potential for overtime. Starting rate is £10.29 per hour. 
Duties can include the following:
  • Yard duties including traffic control, support bulk loading, IBC wash, cleaning
  • Receipt of raw material bulk deliveries
  • Connect tankers to the correct points
  • Liaise with QC ensuring samples are passed off
  • Input information into the Siemens Plant control system
  • Discharge bulk tankers to IBC’s
  • Maintaining delivery points, ensuring cleanliness
 Candidate Summary:
  • Hold a external in-date counterbalance forklift licence
  • Banksman trained and experience working with or around tankers
  • Familiar working with continuous improvement and 5S methods
  • Be computer literate
  • Quality focused
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with other departments are essential
