Reporting to the Operations Director, your focus will be to provide comprehensive engineering services to the business, ensuring efficient management and continuous improvement. This will include ongoing health and safety, engineering purchasing activities, emergency breakdown support, development, and machine modification for planned projects, as well as improving planned maintenance systems.
It is essential that you are Apprentice trained/ qualified (or qualified by experience) Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, with proven skills in implementing lean manufacturing techniques and working to continuously improve processes within the engineering team. Any experience in the medical device industry will be beneficial along with any working knowledge of ISO13485 (not essential). Strong IT skills are required (MS Office) along with the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
