An ongoing temporary position has become available working onsite at a leading aerospace manufacture in Yeovil.
Day to day tasks will include:
- Operating electronic control software to account for all items of tooling within the store, ensuring stock accuracy at all times
- Issuing items to the correct user / work location
- Carrying out visual checks on items returned for defects and deficiencies
- Replenish the shop floor racks
This position will be working on a shift basis that may include weekend cover. The shifts will be Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm and Friday 6am - 12pm/12pm - 6pm
This position is working in a customer facing environment and you have to be able to effectively communicate. You will need to be able to solve queries regarding the tooling and will be responsible for keeping the systems up to date, so you will need to be fully computer literate and will be required to partake in inventory checks.
