Transport Coordinator

Are you a Customer Service professional with experience in logistics, transport, or route planning? Call Dispatchers are required for a brand-new contract in Shrewsbury, working for a leading provider of medical transport services, working in a brand new office with free parking, auto enrolment pension, wellbeing initiatives, retail discounts and fantastic training opportunities!
This is a full-time permanent role based in Shrewsbury working 4 on/ 4 off either DAYS (8am-8pm) OR NIGHTS (8pm-8am) with a salary of £23,400 per annum (£11.25 per hour) plus 28 days holiday. 
As Call Dispatcher, you will be planning and controlling transport services and booking transport for vulnerable patients to and from medical appointments, liaising with Call Handlers and Drivers with regards to route planning, and ensuring patient journeys are met. You will be taking a high number of calls, so communication is key along with the passion for patient care and delivering a high-quality service.
We are keen to speak with applicants with experience in customer service, transport, logistics or transport planning. You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet. A good level of IT is essential (MS Office) along with flexibility to working hours.
