TRANSPORT CLERK x2 REQUIRED - 3 MONTH INITIAL TEMPORARY CONTRACT
Location: South Elmsall, near Pontefract (free parking onsite)
- Role 1 = Days: Tuesday - Saturday 7am-3.30pm - £9 per hour OR
- Role 2 = Nights: Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6.30am - £10 per hour
Working in the Central Transport Team for the UK's best known retailer you will be briefing and debriefing drivers ensuring all routes are allocated correctly with the right vehicle, despatching drivers with run sheets, manifests and vehicle check sheets. You will log all information onto the Transport Management System. When drivers return you will review trip sheet documentation, tacho card downloads, and timesheets.
It is essential you have previously worked as an Administrator ideally from a logistics or transport background with excellent organisational skills and good computer skills. You will work well under pressure with the ability to adapt your communication skills accordingly.
