TRAINEE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service driven individual to join a global Shipping company.
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the overseeing & coordination of principal's vessel appointments routed through the Service Centre. Ensuring Principal & Vessel requirements are met focusing on delivery to the client
The duties of the successful Operations Assistant include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinating vessel calls to a variety of local agents and stakeholders
- General administration duties
- Operating the company's IT system
- Monitoring group email for messaging management
You will be a team player, driven and proactive. Exceptional Customer Service is required for this role as well as a can do attitude.
Shipping/transportation/logistics experience or knowledge would be desirable.
