Caught your attention, then read on...

We are looking for a Resource Planner to join their Transport Services business in either Auckland or Wellington. This person will be a technical leader across the consents and approvals of statutory planning applications that fall in line with NZTA's Resource Management Act (RMA) and promote sustainable land use and integrate transport for future developments.

As a UK professional we are looking for people with the following skills and expertise:

- You will have a strong technical background as a Town, City or Urban Planner, that can be backed up by a relevant academic background and qualifications.

- You will have experience of working within the public sector (local or national authorities) specialising in planning consents and approvals, or working in a capacity where you are involved in influencing planning policy.

- You will have a strong understanding of the statutory planning system and process, as well as an appreciation of land use and integrated transport within the planning of small, medium and large scale projects.

- You will be an expert communicator and stakeholder manager that can represent NZTA when working with developers, local authorities and third party representatives.

The successful person will lead the direction, review, consents and approvals of a range of high profile NZTA projects nationally that require strategic land use and integrated transport advisory and planning.

NZTA are keen to consider international experts that want to make a difference and contribute to the future of New Zealand. They are an approved sponsor of visa's who are able to offer significant packages to attract people who are committed to starting life for the long term in their beautiful country.
