A professional services and investment management firm based in Exeter are looking to recruit a Team Secretary. This post is based in a highly attractive and modern office with showers on every floor, comfortable chairs and a very friendly welcoming team. The Role as Team Secretary
This is a 12 Month FTC - Maternity Cover post with a workload full of variety with some high profile, dynamic instructions.
You will be Providing general administrative support to the team whilst developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
You will be responsible for the efficient, day-to-day office management, including coordinating diaries, arranging meetings, and setting-up conference calls, along with typing, formatting and printing reports.
You will be required to be discreet with the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
You will also be assisting team members with all IT-related matters, including Word and PowerPoint, along with drafting of details, advertisements, pitches, and other marketing material according to our brand guidelines.

- A cheerful and positive attitude is essential, as is a genuine enthusiasm for the work
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Experience of supporting a team within a corporate environment
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workload with an attention to detail and willingness to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarise data for reports and to find solutions to various administrative issues
- Experience formatting documents and reports and an advanced knowledge of PowerPoint is essential
