Our Client are currently recruiting Support Worker's for a number of their sites across Kent - these locations include Dover, Thanet, Birchington, Galringe and Broadstairs. Successful candidates are only based from one site. This is a permenant role. 

The Service User's of these sites have Servere Learning Disabilites which come along with Physical and Mental Health Conditions also. These individuals need 24 hour support which means they are looking for people who can work a mixture of Days and Nights, however this can be negotiated. Some sites offer sleep ins and waking nights. 

This is a great opportunity for someone to move into the Care Sector as not all locations require someone with experience, however if you do have experience working as a Support Workersome sites do need experience so this could be the role for you. Immediate starts are available, 

Salary is dependant on experience and location, Part and Full time roles are also available. Being a driver is not needed for the roles as most sites are based near transport links. 

Your Responsibilities - 
  • Promoting the independence of people we support
  • Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or going away on holiday
  • Arranging activities in the home and in the local community
  • Developing residents' life skills and personal interests
  • Helping residents stay safe and healthy
  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Manual handling
  • Supporting people with medication 
  • Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirement
