We are currently looking for a experienced Sales Support Executive / Reception to work at our client site based in Washington

The role is working Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00 for between 6 to 9 month on a fixed term contract

The role will involve handling a busy switchboard, general receptions duties, order processing and supporting Sales and Customer Service.


  • Sales Support
  • Deal with requests for quotes, stock availability and delivery dates
  • Prepare and send material samples and literature
  • Process online registration
  • Customer Service
  • Handle and resolve customer enquiries, liaising with other departments to resolve any issues
  • Update database
  • Order Processing
  • Process sales orders and card payments
  • Data input and filing
  • Reception Duties
  • Handling calls, sorting and distributing mail, meeting and greeting visitors

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable communication, organisation and telephone skills
  • Be customer focused with exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent IT Skills with experience of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to carry out high volume data entry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Confident in dealing with difficult customers remaining professional at all times
  • Proactive and Willing to learn


  • A relevant qualification at College level
  • Knowledge of CRM packages & SAP preferred (full training given)
