The Opportunity:
Are you an Excel Super User, ideally have experience within an ERP / MRP system, AND thrive in a data driven role? Then this role encompasses all of that, working with data associated with international stock control and supply chain management. If you have any experience within a Planner’s position within a supply chain role, this would also stand you in good stead. Via your effective and efficient data warehousing, combined with a proactive planning process, your role will be to ensure the right stock is in the right location at the right time to fulfil agreed service levels .
The Role:
- Build, validate and enter the sales forecast into the Planning tool
- Review demand patterns and amend planning forecast accordingly
- Track forecast accuracy, identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Introduce process improvements in order to improve availability and efficiency
- Order weekly/monthly and inform suppliers to process orders according to plan from our ERP system recommendations
- Track suppliers to ensure delivery date is confirmed and achieved
- Ensure open orders on ERP system match that of the suppliers and update with accurate delivery dates as goods are despatched from suppliers
Supply chain planning experience in multi-site
environment
Working knowledge of planning processes
Data analysis work experience
Experience in direct purchasing/planning
Your Excel skills must be very strong (pivots, v-look ups) and you’ll ideally have exposure to an ERP / MRP or SAP system
