Have you worked in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of goods in/ out and stock control? A recent electronics/ engineering qualification would be useful! We are recruiting for a Stores/ Stock Controller to join a well established electronics manufacturer in Northwich? Salary £16,500-17,500 per annum, working 36 hours per week (paid for 37!) working Monday to Friday.
As Stores/ Stock Controller you will be working alongside the service calibration team who deal with after sales where machines are returned every 12 months to be serviced. You will look after all goods in and out for this team, entering all items into the inhouse computer system, and packing parcels up to 20kg. Occasionally you may need to work within the service team utilising your knowledge of electronics to service the machines although training will be provided.
It is essential you have worked in a manufacturing environment with some experience in stock control. A recent qualification in electronics or engineering is desirable so you can assist the service team with repairs if required. Good IT skills are needed in order to enter information onto the inhouse system. Any knowledge of soldering will be advantageous.
