Shipping Clerk

A global document management company requires a Shipping Clerk with both import and export experience to work from their Park Royal location in London. Monday to Friday 9-5.30 plus benefits, progression opportunities and a salary of £28-30k per annum is on offer!
 
As Shipping Clerk you will be working in a team of 2, with responsibility for both import and export of goods, although there is a definite export bias with only some customs entries required on the import side. Dealing with air freight in the main, although experience of road and sea freight would be useful. You will be coordinating daily shipments of sales orders from instigation through to monitoring delivery times. This will include regular liaison with the customer, shipping companies and customs personnel.
 
We are keen to hear from applicants with previous shipping experience, with excellent export knowledge and some import. You will be well versed in completing shipping documentation, processing customs entries, and invoicing. Excellent IT skills are required including Excel and previous use of BoxTop would be advantageous. You will be well organised with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload.
 
This is a temporary to permanent role, although applicants will be considered on a direct permanent basis too.
