Senior Children's Support worker - Knowsley Area - up to £10.36 per hour, plus £45 per sleep

We are looking for 2 experienced Senior Residential Support Workers for 2 of the homes in the Knowsley area (1 in each). One is a 2-bed service and one is a solo unit, and they aim to empower their Children and Young people to live a full and happy life. We would also consider a Support worker who has worked in a similar environment and is looking for their next step up.

My client is a highly successful organisation who specialise in Children with EBD and Mild Learning Disabilities. They have expanded over the last year and are growing all the time. They take pride in providing a supportive and welcoming environment for their staff and Young People alike.

You will work directly under the deputy and the manager and will assist and support them in the day to day running of the service. You will also provide guidance and support to the Young People and will help with supervisions and the leadership of the staff team. You will also use your skills and knowledge to impact the Ofsted inspections.

The shift pattern is 2 on 4 off and will consist of days and sleep ins.

To apply for this job, you must have the following;

- Experience in a Children's Residential setting

- Senior or Shift leader role (or extensive experience in a Support role)

- NVQ 3 Children and Young Peoples Work Force

- Driver

- Commitment to ongoing Personal Development

- A passion for making a difference

Please Note: This is not suitable for someone with a background in Education or Nursery.
