We are looking for someone with extensive Credit Control experience for a new and exciting position based at our client's offices near Wellington, Somerset. If successful you would be responsible for setting up a credit control system for the company and also setting up a cash process using Sage software. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing a ledger of over 400 accounts, chasing overdue invoices by telephone and in writing to set timescales. You will be responding to client and internal queries in a prompt manner and sending out monthly client statements. Within your role, you will regularly review debt recovery policy and procedures and suggest process improvements of the credit and accounts receivable process.
To apply we are looking for you to demonstrate your experience in a similar role. You will need great communication skills and be able to build relationships effectively, happy to interact with executive- level management. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work to targets are essential. You will also need good IT skills especially within Excel and previous experience of using SAGE.
