Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a natural relationship builder who is extremely driven to join a friendly team based in Taunton to work for a company who specialise in delivering improvements within the education industry.
The role will involve the account management of key client accounts, including those of high value, with the view of securing the highest possible proportion of repeat business and up-selling and cross-selling other services from the product portfolio where possible. You will also be looking to bring in referral business from existing accounts wherever possible.
The role involves a mix of telephone and face-to-face account management, including the provision of face-to-face training and sales meetings where appropriate, so you should be comfortable with some travel and attending some out-of-standard-hours client meetings. You will be expected to deliver presentations to groups and therefore excellent communication skills are essential. The role will suit you if you are a strong relationship builder with good organisation and administration skills.
You must be highly self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile to deliver high-value customer services to members. An understanding of account management principles and a good understanding of, and passion for, the education industry is essential. You will be working to targets and will be liaising with other departments to ensure the customer receives the highest possible service level. You will need good IT skills and have previous experience of using a CRM system effectively.
