We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator working on construction projects based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Salary £20-21,500 per annum, working 08:30 - 17:00 Mon to Fri plus excellent benefits!
As Sales Coordinator you will be working in a team of 6 who each have their own geographical area within the UK. Your role will be to progress items through the tender stages, identifying correct contacts, the industry, which products are required, providing quotes and keeping in touch with the relevant stakeholders through to contract award.
This will involve researching prospective and new clients, creating and maintaining a contact database, and scheduling client appointments. You would also be supporting the Area Sales Development team with general administration duties, providing technical and sales advice to customers over the phone, and providing weekly reports on order activity.
It is essential you have previous sales support experience ideally within the construction industry with a good understanding of the tender process. You will have used CRM database systems with excellent MS Office skills. Strong negotiation, cross selling, and closing skills with also be required within this role. Ideally you will have web and social media knowledge, and be a strong and confident communicator.
