Due to recent growth, we have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate) to be based in the Northampton region, working for a leading family owned construction business. This is a permanent role offering a salary up to £50,000 plus company car, working Monday-Friday 8.15am-5pm.

Our client works within a wide range of sectors including engineering, industrial, retail, commercial and housing, with new projects ready to start. Your role will include (but not limited to) preparing project valuations, variations and final accounts, accurate monthly cash flow projections and financial forecasts, produce procurement schedules, negotiating and managing subcontractor and consultant packages, procurement for the site, managing non recoverable project costs as well as attending project meetings and putting together site reports.

To be considered in this role, you will need a strong track record in Quantity Surveying from a main contractor background along with working knowledge of two stage tendering. You will be degree educated, with strong knowledge of JCT and NEC suite of contracts. You will have a membership of or working towards RICS or CIOB with excellent IT skills. Strong communication is essential with the ability to manage and motivate Trainees and Assistants.
