Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical and electrical (M&E) background, would you like to work on-site at one of London's most iconic landmarks and locations?

An exciting Quantity Surveyor opportunity at has arisen at a leading facilities management service provider that delivers mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering solutions, working on a prestigious account at an iconic location in London.  You will be responsible for monitoring and control of costs and contracts for the engineering minor works team and small projects across an impressive estate comprising of 14 buildings - always maintaining and not compromising on high quality service.

As a Quantity Surveyor, your role will involve:
  • Pre and post measuring small works (M&E) in line with PSA Schedule of Rates
  • Assisting senior managers with budgeting of M&E projects
  • Cost control, and recording / reporting of income and expenditure
  • Specialist contractor selection and management
  • Assisting with legal and contractual issues on small works
  • Valuation of progress on projects

For this opportunity, I'm interested in speaking with a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or M&E Surveyor with mechanical or electrical background and facilities management experience.  You will also have NEC3 experience (Option A, Option C and TSC), an understanding of CDM regulations and (ideally) knowledge of PSA Schedule of Rates.  The ability to build collaborative relationships, drive efficiency measures / improvements, understand financials and implement commercial contracts will be needed as well.

Salary £55,000 to £60,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
