We are a successful, relaxed and friendly business specialising in the jewellery sector and seek a new Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to join our team.
Working with the Production Team you will co-ordinate the efficient approval of all products and that is both Samples and Bulk. This is a process of matching approved specs for manufacturing where you will check the quality and colour of stones and perform resistance testing on the finished product; documenting the process as you go.
You will manage our QA process at our Distribution Centre and Head Office therefore travelling between the two locations and flexibility to do this will be pivotal to your role. We would like you to be responsible for the training of the team once you have the expertise to do so, so previous team leadership or training experience would be an advantage.
Communication and attention to detail will be the key to success in this role. As you liaise between the factory and retailers that we supply to, dealing with any product changes or returns. However, providing feedback to our Directors with any production issues and any issues with supply or delivery will ensure we retain our reputation as a trusted supplier in the market. Our documentation could perhaps do with a revamp, so if you come with a wealth of experience on running a QA function this could be really valuable to us.
We need you to have superior attention to detail, strong excel skills, be an extremely well organised individual with an ability to prioritise and manage your own tasks, good written and verbal communication skills and a positive and flexible attitude to go between our two sites as mentioned above.
