Can you demonstrate strong Material Requirement Planning and Purchasing skills? Have you previously worked within a Manufacturing Procurement or Materials Management team? A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing and MRP Administrator based in Stoke on Trent, working for a leading manufacturing company supplying the Industrial and Automotive sector. The role will be working Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm offering a competitive salary.
As Purchasing and MRP Administrator, you will be working within a small operational team managing purchase orders and the management of raw materials, daily communication with production staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, analysis of vendor performance and stock taking.
It is essential that you have experience in purchasing, materials management and possess strong administration skills; with the ability to meet tight deadlines and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, teamed with excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders within the business. Strong Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, macros) is also essential for this role.
Experience of using an MRP system / SAP is beneficial but not essential, along with experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
