We are recruiting for a project manager with finance experience, ideally management accountancy skills to work as part of a large organisation on a part time basis. The position is based in Taunton but you will need to be able to travel to Wellington, Bridgwater and areas of Taunton as part of the role.
The role is working as part of the regulatory team, specialising in car parking management. The main elements of the role will include income analysis and forecasting as well as budgeting and managing planned maintenance within the local area. This is a relatively unique role so candidates will need project management and finance skills as well as a willingness to learn specific regulatory elements.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Income analysis and forecasting
- Managing annual maintenance of car parks
- Budgeting and cost analysis
- Traffic regulation orders
- Managing policies and procedures
- Contract management with outsourced suppliers
- Strategy management
Previous project management experience with a heavy focus on the finance and management information areas will be key for the role as well as previous experience working within a regulatory industry and a willingness to learn relevant legal and regulatory legislation. You will be overseeing other individuals within the team and providing advise and guidance to all areas of the business so will need strong customer service skills and the ability to work with and support other members of the team.
The role is working 22 hours per week, although there is flexibility in how these hours are split.
Rate of pay is dependant on previous experience and is between £15.00 and £18.00 per hour.
This is initially working on a temporary basis but could potentially lead to a permanent contract.
