Our precision engineering client are looking for an Production Operative to join their team at their modern and innovative factory based on the outskirts of Ilminster. The role is exciting and dynamic and you will be learning as you go with involvement in high level, intricate assembly work.

As an Production Operative you will be responsible for:
  • Intricate assembly of delicate and precise components
  • Cleaning components prior to assembly using microscopic devices
  • Following instructions and works orders for assembly requirements
  • Completing quality control paperwork for work in progress and finished products.
We are on the look out for an Production Operative candidates with previous production or assembly experience ideally within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment as well as the aptitude to learn new skills. You will need to be able to understand basic engineering drawings and be able to following instructions to make components as per order requirements.

This role is working on a rotating shift of 6am - 2.30pm / 2pm - 10.30pm Monday to Fridays.

Salary for the role is dependant on experience and qualifications.
