Our client is looking for an experienced production controller to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
As a production controller you will be responsible for co-ordinating, scheduling and prioritising all shop floor production requirements to ensure that all customer requirements are met
You will also be responsible for:
- managing work orders including liaising with other departments to ensure orders and materials are released in a timely manner
- Highlighting any potential risks with orders and resolving as efficiently as possible so that customers are not affected
- Co-ordinating the flow or materials and parts to mirror the production schedule
- Monitoring the production plan on a daily basis ensuring it is being adhered to and making any necessary changes if required
- promote and maintain a safe working environment within the production control department
In order to be considered for this role you must:
- Be computer literate confident in the use of Word, Access and Outlook and in particular have excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Be an excellent organiser
- Be able to multi-task in an ever changing environment
- Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to achieve positive results by working effectively with internal departments
- Previous experience in production control is desirable
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm
