This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of helicopters.
As an experienced Procurement Specialist you will be part of the Mission Systems and Contracting team supporting UK, Italy, Poland and USA. This means you must be willing to travel internationally to visit suppliers.
You will act as the primary interface for the suppliers, leading negotiations and managing contracts. Part of this will involve supporting new bids and managing new supplier sourcing. Therefore, key to this position is being able to demonstrate experience of managing complex contracts, managing issues and delivering against core objectives.
Within this position you will act as a point of escalation for significant supplier issues and look at ways to improve existing relationships. The ability to build excellent working relationships and communicate and influence key decision makers is essential to this position.
