Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be providing specialist procurement advice across the organisation, ensuring the business optimises value for money from its procurement activities, maintaining spend reports and internal procurement control. You will be supporting the Procurement Manager and Senior Management in procurement activities, coordinating stock across 2 sites, coordinate tenders for both public and private sector and getting involved in a variety of procurement projects within the business. You will be working across multiple categories so wider category management experience is essential.
It is essential that you have a proven procurement background with some tender experience (OJEU ideally) alongside a background in suppler performance and management. You will be ambitious with the desire to grow within the business. If you currently hold CIPS Level 3 or studying towards this would be advantageous with strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP ideally. Category management experience is essential working with a variety of categories.
