We are currently working with a very successful orthodontic practice who are in the process of expanding and therefore are seeking an ambitious and conscientious Practice Manager to join their team. Whilst previous experience of dental practice management is desirable, the company are very open to considering applications from suitable candidates who possess the relevant skills and attributes gained from experience as practice managers in other fields (GP surgeries etc) looking to transfer to a new and exciting career path.
This position will be based in a new practice in the Wokingham area and will be absolutely pivotal to the success of the business. The role will be extremely busy and varied and duties will range from organising clinician and nursing rotas, dealing effectively with patient and stakeholder queries and complaints and ensuring management reporting and audits are completed. If successful you will be responsible for ensuring CQC, information governance and GDPR requirements are met, and also monitoring compliance with requirements for NHS contracts. Staff management will also be a key part of your role, including ensuring employment check standards are met for new members of staff.
Training and support will be be given to the successful candidate however you will need to be able to demonstrate the following to be considered-

- IT competent - Including good Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Able to independently take a new task, investigate, learn rapidly and complete, within a given time frame

- Ability to pay high attention to detail
- Project management experience
- Proactive and highly motivated with the ability to set an excellent example to staff
The role will be full time (40 hours per week) and will involve covering some evenings and Saturday mornings on a rota basis. You will need a driving licence as travel to other practices may be required on occasion.
