Personal Assistant to the Global Supply Leadership Team
Initial 6 months FTC

Our client, a leading engineering manufacturer specialising in steam, they produce niche peristaltic pumps and associated fluid thermal technologies within 16 countries around the world.  

The Global Supply Chain Leadership Team are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant who has a passion for organisation, someone who faces any task head on and takes ownership of all activity's that comes their way. 

  • Salary - £30,000 - £35,000

  • Initial 6-month FTC

  • Contracted to 37.5 hours per week

  • Working Pattern:Monday to Friday – 08.45 – 17.15

  • Pro Rata @ 27 days holiday + bank holidays

Working alongside the Leadership Team, you will also support on exciting projects that will require your keen eye for detail, whilst delivering on the day-to-day part of the role which will include compliance management, meeting booking and travel arrangements for the team. 

Our new Personal Assistant will need to be dynamic, enthusiastic and a great communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders at a senior level, remaining focused under pressure

We need someone that can prioritise and think 5 steps ahead to plan for the Leadership Team’s objectives & upcoming deadlines.

. Core Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active diary management for the Leadership Team - you will ensure that they remain sufficiently accessible, while keeping them on track with their daily objectives 

  • Continually strive to improve the efficiency of the Global Supply Chain team by identifying areas for improvement and assisting with implementing any changes 

  • Provide support to the GSC Director’s EA when required 

  • Co-ordinate and organise travel arrangements, including ‘problem solving’ and providing proactive complete sensible options where required, in line with the travel policy 

  • Assist with the organisation of events both locally and globally, including packs/materials/travel/correspondence/etc 

  • Assisting with production of presentations and reports 

  • General administration - expenses, resolving invoices, holiday tracking, handling post, call screening, answering emails where appropriate, stationery ordering, filing and other matters for the Leadership Team 

  • Working well within the PA community, showing strong teamwork capability and providing support to other team members when necessary 

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

You will be motivated by working in a fast-paced environment, always aiming to go above and beyond, and have the key capabilities mentioned above. You will need to be people focused as you’ll be working alongside a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels. We are also looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of working with sensitive/confidential information and interacting with senior leaders daily.
