Operations Manager - Renewables

The Opportunity:
This role of Operations Manager / General Manager leads and assumes overall accountability for Customer Satisfaction, Operational Business Performance and Health, Safety & Environment.  The Operations Manager will set the strategic direction and future targets of the business and formulate business plans to maximise productivity and efficiency balancing quality in our industry leading design output, customer service and lifetime technical support.   Your core areas of responsibility will be: Design Services, Supply Chain, Technical Services, Health, Safety & Environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • To deliver the strategic operational goals of this successful renewables provider in support of the 3-year plan, executed on time
  • Develop strategic plans for optimized productivity
  • Review and improve organisational effectiveness by developing processes, establishing a highly motivated work environment and creating innovative approaches for improvement
  • To deliver operational budget and inventory management
  • To deliver customer satisfaction at >9/10
  • To ensure that our operational activities are compliant, prioritised and delivered at the best overall benefit to the company
  • To ensure purchasing is conducted in a collaborative and professional manner.
  • To actively solve customers' problems, targeting and addressing root causes to improve the customer experience.
  • Establish a high level of business credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including suppliers and industry,

•       Previous experience of operational leadership and strategic accountability
•       Previous experience of Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities
•       IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable
•       Degree Operations or Business Management is desirable
