Calling all administrators looking for a fresh "not your typical" administrative role. Our client is seeking a new member of the operations team to ensure sleek work-flow control, preparation and approval of jobs prior to release to production facilities. This role is very varied and will also involve liaising with suppliers, assisting with company fleet management and also booking of travel arrangements for staff as necessary. It also will involve ensuring stock levels are managed effectively and some purchasing responsibilities.
We are looking for somebody with a team ethic, can - do attitude and a logical approach to provide various technical and administrative support services in order to strengthen the production operations of the company.
The role will include carrying out quality checks to ensure work released to production meets the specific requirements of the customer, maintaining balanced work-flow to ensure optimum productivity at production sites as well as monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner. You will need the ability to pay high attention to detail whilst working in a fast paced environment without compromising on quality standards. You will also be responsible for investigating any anomalies and collating and accurately maintaining a range of departmental and managerial reports so good IT skills, particularly using Excel will be required. You will need great communication skills and have the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to ensure the best rates for products and services are set. An understanding of stock management is also required. Previous experience of purchasing or supplier management would be highly but not essential.
