As Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration for all inbound deliveries to dispatch of finished product. This is brand new role due to increased workload and is a permanent position!
This will include sales administration, processing orders, matching invoices, dealing with inbound and outbound deliveries and liaising with customers and their supply chain to ensure the process runs smoothly. You will book in deliveries and arrange transport with carriers and freight forwarders for outgoing deliveries completing necessary export documentation as required. It will be necessary to chase orders through the process including liasing with internal teams, transport companies, suppliers and customers to ensure target timelines are achieved. In addition, there will be some HR administration involved in the role such as producing new starter paperwork, collating hours for payroll and other ad hoc duties as required.
It is essential you have administration experience from a manufacturing/ logistics environment with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. Any experience of exports/ imports would be advantageous. Excellent IT skills are required including MS Office and Sage ideally or similar ERP or WMS system.
