RMN Night Shift Coordinator - Borehamwood Area - Up to £38,000 Plus benefits
This client is a well-established mental health service with the High Dependency unit at the heart of the company. They also have multiple Supported Living Units to support people with Mental Health integrating back into the community.
We are looking for an experienced RMN to join the friendly and supportive environments to complete a Night Shift Coordinator role within the hospital. This is a 32 bed High Dependency unit for people with Personality Disorders as well as people suffering from Psychotic episodes. This is a beautiful property that boats facilities such as library, therapy studio and grounds.
You will be in charge of the night shift and take leadership responsibility each night. You will take control of appraisals and supervisions of the junior nurses on shift, and will feed this back to the clinical lead. You will also use your skills and experience to act as a mentor and a role model to the other members of staff.
You will know how to work autonomously and will manage routine activities as well as responds to emergencies, and also filter and escalate to the on call manage where appropriate. You will also be involved in the ordering and administering of medication.
Along with other nursing duties within the service. Most of all, we want you to be friendly approachable and committed to the care of our patients and quality care at all times.
You will do between 3 and 4 shifts a week, the shifts start at 8:00pm to 8:30am.

- Experience as RMN
- Experience in a supervisory position (desirable)
