NHS PIP Clinical Quality and Training Manager
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Band 7 (£40,872 - £47,846)
On behalf of our client we are currently looking for a health care professional such as Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic who has experience working as a Training Manager within a PIP Team.

What does working as a Clinical Quality and Training Manager involve?

Working as a Clinical Quality and Training Manager involves leading and managing the overall clinical quality and training delivery for NHS PIP Service. You would be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality assessment service for claimants of PIP as well as ensuring that high quality reports are returned to DWP in line with the contractual service level requirements.

  • Provide specialist clinical quality leadership and training delivery across the PIP service.
  • To collaborate with the PIP Senior Management Team (SMT), in the development, implementation and evaluation of a Clinical Quality Strategy and programme of work, whilst managing several varied quality effectiveness and training related activities to meet contractual objectives.
  • To be responsible for ensuring service wide improvement in clinical quality in response to audit feedback and evaluation in line with contractual requirements.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the design, development and delivery of PIP specific training programmes in line with contractual requirements.
  • To supervise and lead the work of the PIP delivery team including Clinical Assessors/Trainers, administrative staff and any associated staff.

Applicants must be a registered health care professional such as Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist and have previous experience working on the PIP contract.
