As a privately owned, UK manufacturer with over 100 years' experience we seek a new National Sales Manager due to a recent restructure. Your role will be to drive sales through coaching, developing, and leading our 5 established Regional Account Managers, with the goal of achieving set business objectives. We are one of the market leaders in paper manufacturing and pride ourselves on providing the best bespoke paper products to our customers.
You will manage your team remotely monitoring, guiding and driving sales as well as develop our largest of distributors via frequent countrywide client meetings. However, we will require you to be visible in the business and present at least once a week from our head office in Kent. Our business is determined to develop and grow its £60 mil turnover and strengthen our foothold amongst catering distributors throughout the UK.

Desirably we look for someone with a demonstrable background from within either a Manufacturer, Distributor or FMCG i.e. "me-too" product setting, with strong sales, negotiation and P&L experience and someone very margin focused!
The offer is £60-70k basic with bonus, car allowance, 25 days holiday and all the tools you need to do your job well. Due to vast travelling within this role we would like the location of this person to sit somewhere within the M1 corridor i.e. Midlands to Bedfordshire spanning Oxford, Coventry, Northampton, Leicester, Nottingham and Milton Keynes.
