Role: Mechanical Site Manager

Requirement: SMSTS

Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Project: Domestic / Commercial New Build

Duration: 9 Months

To manage all on site activities with to achieve a successful outcome for, Quality, Safety, timely and coordinated installations.

Detailed Responsibilities

To comply with the company Internal Process Documents

Co-ordinate all on site activities between client and the Main Contractor to ensure best

practices are carried out and allow safe, efficient progress in line with the contract programme.

Provide support to the Project Surveyor on any commercial matters.

Provide support to the Project Engineers & Supervisors on any practical matters.

Manage the sub-contract installations, review, plan, progress and monitor installations.

Manage all on site activities in line with the Health and Safety Plan.

Manage technical and progress issues relating to Plant and Sub-Contractor elements using technical submission process (PD09).

Communicate with the trade foremen and store men regularly on project specific matters.

Represent the company on any internal or external issues.

Co-ordinate with the foreman the completion of the Quality Visual Inspection Procedure and appropriate clearance of snags identified and client signature.

Co-ordinate with the foreman to requisition, control and monitor effective use of plant hire.

Ensure accurate records are maintained on site for issued PPE.

Ensure accurate records are maintained on site for operative training certificates.

Ensure accurate records are maintained for sub-contractors

Manage the completion of the 6 week labour plan prior to the Monthly Project Reviews and monitor any changes on a weekly basis.
