Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be working from engineering drawings to assemble incinerator and cremation units, stripping down of mechanical/ hydraulic assemblies, diagnosing faults, conducting production tests and completing test reports as well as reporting on planning and costings, and completing component assembly.
To be successful in this role, you will be qualified, or apprenticeship trained in mechanical engineering with ideally a manufacturing background in incineration or waste management. Any knowledge of refractory process will be highly desirable. You will be a strong communicator with a logical approach to your workload.
