Job Title: Mechanical Assembler and Tester
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 3.45pm, Friday 7.00am - 12.45pm
Pay: We're looking to pay a starting rate of £10.25 per hour or close to this, depending on your skill and experience. Please get in touch for more information. Overtime is readily available.
I'm offering a rare opportunity to work with a medium sized, specialist engineering firm, a hidden gem based in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, commutable from Stonehouse, Stroud, Gloucester and surrounding areas.
With a long history in their specialist market my client has become an expert and market leader in their field, producing the highest quality engineered products for energy and renewable, oil and gas, power generation and a wide range of other industries which all require the best possible products to perform well in some of the most challenging environments across the globe.
My client is looking to increase their team on the day shift and I'm looking to find just the right person to join the company as their new skilled Mechanical Assembler and Tester at a time when business is continuing at a strong and steady rate.
The job - Mechanical Assembler and Tester
Do you have experience of assembling metal component parts, carefully following engineering instructions?
Perhaps you've completed an apprenticeship or you have a year or two's experience under your belt in a similar environment and you're looking for your career to progress?
Then I'm interested in hearing from you.
Joining a small team of mechanical assembly and test staff, you will be working in a modern, well equipped, safe and tidy factory environment. You'll be working with well maintained tools and equipment and you'll be making products of the highest quality for customers all over the world.
- Assembling mechanical (metal) components according to standard instructions documents;
- Using hand tools such as spanners, air tools and torque wrenches;
- Testing finished products;
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch;
- Completing any paperwork along with any associated duties.
If you have an eye for detail and a conscientious attitude, if you take a pride in completing a good job and you have experience of working in the area of mechanical assembly (or if you are confident and comfortable working with hand tools and you feel that you would be capable of working in a mechanical assembly role), then please do get in touch, we would be pleased to hear from you.
