Do you have experience of structural fitting work in the aerospace industry?
As long as you have the qualifications we need, or you have carried out mechanical/structural fitting work on our client's aircraft via a third party company in the past, we would be interested in hearing from you. Your duties will include:
Using appropriate hand and power tools to fit structural and sheet metal components according to aerospace engineering drawings, you will be working on helicopter repair and overhaul contracts and perhaps supporting the build of brand new aircraft. Practical experience of aerospace structural or mechanical systems fitting is essential for these roles, as is and a keen eye for detail and a certain amount of pride in carrying out high quality work.
6-2 / 2-10 shift: PAYE £18.50/hr; Limited Company £23.26/hr
To be considered for these roles, you must be able to provide proof (certificates) of:
1. completion of an apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline
2. completion of at least one of (a), (b) or (c) below:
(a) City & Guilds level 1 & 2 in an electrical discipline (pre-1990)
(b) NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline AND City & Guilds OR BTEC level 3 OR ONC, OND, HNC, HND
3. forces discharge papers where applicable
