Within this role you will be required to support production needs and to meet the company’s customer requirements by raising, amending and maintaining purchase orders as required utilising all company procedures for the procurement of services required.
To plan, co-ordinate and expedite the supply of materials, parts and/or information to meet programme requirements.
You will be required to regularly review the order book, addressing outstanding acknowledgements, stock at vendor, order intake, order book alignment, negotiate schedule changes in line with SAP exception messages to ensure forecasting accuracy and alignment with customer requirement.
Key to this position is the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and have excellent communication and relationship skills both within and externally to the company. Must also be computer literate with knowledge of SAP (desirable), Excel and Word.
