As a young, innovative business we offer an incredible cruelty-free, vegan product to the cosmetics market place. We are rapidly growing into an international brand and we know the way forwards is not to follow trends but set them. To ensure our distributors sell the products in the best way possible, we run an academy offering accredited training course helping new and current professionals both learn and improve their skills. In order to maintain our growth, we recognise that we need the right people to help us grow, and this is where your leadership and professional background, as our new Marketing Director will come into play.

We have a small team in place currently, including a Marketing Manager, visual specialists responsible for impactful imagery via photo-shoots in our studio, another uses analytics to determine ROI on all our projects, we have a graphic designer who is new and there is administrative support. You will coach, inspire and manage our team and create an unrivalled environment for excellence. Project management needs fine tuning and your role is to enable projects to be successful, on-time and on-budget.

Your role will involve all marketing activity influencing the style, colour, and imagery of our brand and then translating this all the way through to both traditional and on-line marketing. We require high levels of skills and confidence in using on-line marketing, particularly via social media and ideally within an Apple/Mac and 'sharp end' IT environment. You will co-ordinate our brand communication and PR work, foster collaboration between teams and offer cohesion and support to the teams; presenting coordinated creative and marketing project work to the board.

Based in our Brighton office, you will take your steer from our CEO, and work closely to interpret imagination. In fact this role requires amazing strengths of collaboration, interpretation, creativity, vision and a high level of emotional intelligence, as you must be able to understand the issues of an SME owner-led business. We have small teams and are very flexible, with an ever-changing marketing brief.

We are offering a competitive salary of between £45-55k but may squeeze a little more for someone with a demonstrable career who comes from within our desired field of cosmetics or a similar FMCG sector.
