Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias? Do you have knowledge of plant and equipment, including injection moulding machines? Due to growth, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful plumbing company in Coatbridge. Benefits to include a great working culture, pension, free parking, and 33 days AL (inc bank holiday).

This is a full-time permanent role working a rotating shift pattern which involves a dayshift, back shift, and night shift (39 hours per week on a rota basis), on a rate of £15.37ph + shift allowance:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining production by carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on a variety of plant and equipment. Working within a team of 3-4 Engineers on shift, you will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, Dismantle, inspect and overhaul equipment, as required by preventive maintenance program and production schedules, as well as ensuring that all plant equipment are in a safe working order to ensure limited downtime.

We are keen to speak to Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias, ideally HNC, NC, Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/electrical discipline, teamed with the ability to demonstrate theoretical knowledge, a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic systems, conveyors and hoist systems. It is essential that you have working knowledge of current safety regulations and legislation along with experience in working with plant machinery/ equipment. Any previous experience or knowledge of injection moulding machines will be beneficial.

A manufacturing background is essential with practical problem solving and communication skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
